Dear Families of Opportunity Charter School,
I'm thrilled to introduce myself as your new Parent Liaison at OCS, Ms. Quinones! For the past seven years, I've been a dedicated professional in education, and I have been a proud parent in the charter school community since 2009. I believe my experience as a parent and an education professional allows me to bridge the gap between home and school for OCS families. Family Involvement
Opportunity Charter School recognizes that family involvement is a critical component of education. Families of OCS students are vital contributors in the education of their children. Accordingly, families are encouraged to participate in the development of programs and activities, and to stay informed about programs in which their students participate. It is through mutual understanding and close cooperation between the school and home that a student’s academic success will thrive.
Joining the OCSPA is a great opportunity to meet other OCS families, stay connected to teachers and school staff, organize special events, and play a critical role in building an active school community. Meetings will be held monthly. Please consider joining our Board.
There are several scheduled events throughout the school year where students and families gather together to celebrate in the interest of increasing the value of education while building community spirit.

- Admissions Open Houses: OCS families are invited to come out to promote the school to prospective families seeking admission to OCS.
- Family Association Meetings: Family Association meetings are held monthly in-person or via Zoom. Links will be sent securely through Infinite Campus.
- Parent-Teacher Conferences: Parent Teacher Conferences are held in-person or via Zoom. See the school calendar for dates and links will be sent securely through Infinite Campus.
