Welcome to your sophomore year!
Sophomore year can be a very enjoyable and productive experience. Now that you are accustomed to Opportunity Charter and are aware of the activities the school has to offer, this may be a good year to branch out and try something new. See what activities are offered during the year that may interest you. Sophomore year also is a great time to volunteer in the community. Volunteer work can provide an opportunity to help others, become more involved with the community, explore possible career areas, and build upon college resumes. We can help!
Should I take the PSATS? The PSAT (preliminary SAT) is a practice test offered by College Board as a prep tool for the SATs. All juniors and sophomores at OCS take the PSAT in October. The PSAT exam encompasses Algebra and Geometry.
